After a couple weeks in Hamburg, I feel like I am only just starting to get to know the city. There's so many things to see and do here. Even so, this AFS camp has allowed me to settle into a rhythm: language school in the morning, lunch at the hostel downtown, and activities in the afternoon. I'm enjoying my time here and I've gotten to know some of the other AFS CBYXers at this camp pretty well. In mid-September, the language camp ends and we will all get sent off to our host families. It's a very exciting time.
I know people back home can't wait to hear more details about how exchange here has been. Right now, I just want to let you all know that I'm having fun so far and I'm very busy with lots of activities. I'll send you more updates later when I have the chance. If you want to reach me or send me a message, you are welcome to send me an email at zeke@zekestephens.com.
To conclude, I would like to thank the government program that makes this possible. I am very grateful to have been selected for the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship. Additionally, I am grateful for the AFS volunteers that are there for us exchange students every step of the way.
